What is Web Summit?
In six short years, Web Summit has grown from 400 attendees to over 50,000 attendees from more than 150 countries. No technology conference has ever grown so large so fast. Web Summit has become “Europe’s largest and most important technology marketplace”. An unrivalled global meeting place for the world’s most disruptive technology companies and those interested in how that disruption can transform their businesses and their lives.
Where does Web Summit take place?
Web Summit 2017 is taking place in the MEO Arena and FIL in Lisbon, Portugal.
What does my Web Summit ticket entitle me to?
A standard Web Summit ticket grants you entry to Web Summit 2017’s 21 conferences in Lisbon on November 6-9, as well as access to Web Summit satellite events, networking events and Night Summit parties. An Executive ticket includes all of the above and access to a VIP Networking Lounge (Partners Lounge). A Chairperson ticket will include all of the above plus access to the Speakers Lounge. How can I register for Web Summit?
To register for Web Summit, you must download our app which will be available to download closer to the time. Here you will find your QR code. Please present this along with photo ID at registration.

Can I transfer my ticket to another person during the conference?
No, each ticket is valid to be used by one person only for the duration of the conference.
I can’t attend Web Summit anymore. Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately not. We have a strict no refunds policy, which you can find in our terms and conditions. You can however change the name on your ticket prior to the event, and have someone else go in your place.
Can I resell my Web Summit tickets?
As laid out in our Terms and Conditions, you cannot sell your Web Summit ticket. Doing so will result in a void ticket and the ticket holder will not gain entry into the event. This also applies to our subsidised tickets (Women in Tech, Student Scholarship, Open Source). If you have secured a complimentary ticket but have already bought a ticket, you are not eligible for a refund. For more information, please email email@example.com.
How do I change the name on my ticket?

Do you sell one-day tickets?
We don’t offer one-day tickets. Please refer to our ticket page here.
I have a disability and I need my carer to assist me at Web Summit. Do I need to buy a ticket for my carer?
We would be happy to accommodate your needs. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org where the team can advise you further.
Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Is there a schedule available?
A detailed schedule will be made available closer to the event. It will be available on our website and in our attendee app.
Do you pay for travel?
Unfortunately, we can’t pay for travel expenses for Web Summit.
I need a visa to attend, can you help me?
While we will not engage directly with your relevant embassy, we will happily send you an invitation letter once you purchase your ticket. To receive your letter, please email us at email@example.com with your booking reference. Please note that your embassy will require notice before issuing your visa. To see if you need a visa, please refer to this list.
Where can I find my invoice for my ticket?
You can find your invoice in your confirmation email when you first purchased. If you have any questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
What is the dress code for Web Summit?
There is no specific dress code for Web Summit, however people tend to dress smart casual.
