Web Summit brings together leading figures from tech and the industries that tech touches. Often, you can encounter A-listers from beyond the traditional worlds of tech and business at the event.
These include musicians, sports personalities, authors and in this case, actors, promoting a range of things from businesses and investments to philanthropic endeavours. And each has a unique experience to bring to the tech world.
There’s nothing wrong with mixing business with a touch of glamour, though these speakers know their stuff when it comes to tech. So, with that in mind, here are five famous faces from the acting world attending Web Summit this year.

Amy is a world-renowned comedian and one of Hollywood’s most versatile and sought-after producers, directors, actors and writers. Known for incredible, memorable performances in Saturday Night Live, Parks and Recreation, Mean Girls and Inside Out, Amy has been voted one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.
Away from stage and screen, Amy is the founder and CEO of Paper Kite Productions, a full-service entertainment company that produces film, television, and podcast content.
Amy will be speaking on Centre Stage at Web Summit 2023, breaking down the art of storytelling and how to make an impact on your audience.

Taylor is experiencing a meteoric rise to fame in the acting world and is well known for charismatic performances in The Kissing Booth franchise, HBO’s Minx and most recently as the star in LGBTQ+ romantic comedy Red, White and Royal Blue.
A Chicago-born actor, Taylor’s career began at an early age by performing in opera houses and musical theatre, while also competing as a nationally-ranked swimmer.
Taylor will be speaking on Modum alongside Eco-Age CEO Harriet Vocking on the role advertising plays in promoting sustainable fashion.

Since debuting in Terrence Malick’s Palme d’Or winning film The Tree of Life, Tye has emerged as one of Hollywood’s most exciting actors. Tye has played iconic roles, including Scott Summers (aka Cyclops) in the X-Men franchise and as the lead in Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One.
Tye is equally as creative off camera, holding three patents and serving as co-founder and president of Wonder Dynamics, which has developed an AI tool that automatically animates, lights and composes CG characters into a live-action scene.
Tye will be speaking on ContentMakers to discuss how AI can help visual storytelling.

Kelly is a Hollywood actress perhaps best known for portraying Lily van der Woodsen in the CW Network’s hit show Gossip Girl. Kelly has starred in several other renowned roles, including in Fox primetime soap Melrose Place and the recent reboot of the iconic show Dallas.
Off-screen, Kelly is an investor and business owner of the social networking platform Whyzzer, which empowers users to share and consume knowledge.

Jessica has worked on a wide range of popular series including Ilha dos Amores, Flor do Mar, A Outra, Doce Tentação, and Destinos Cruzados, as well as cinema and theatre.
