5 top startup and investor speakers at Web Summit 2024

This year, more than 1,000 investors and 2,750-plus startups are expected to converge in Lisbon for Web Summit. Meet some of the top investor and startup speakers joining us.

As we launch the first 20 talks on the Web Summit schedule, here’s an overview of just some of the speakers from the startups and investor categories who will be joining us in Lisbon. 

Lindsay Kaplan, co-founder and chief brand officer at Chief

Lindsay is the co-founder and chief brand officer of Chief, responsible for developing and growing the company’s brand identity as the world’s largest network of senior women executives. Lindsay is a renowned public speaker and has won multiple awards, including Inc.’s Most Dynamic Female Founders in 2023.

Yinon Costica, co-founder and VP of product at Wiz

Yinon Costica is the co-founder and VP of product at cloud security platform Wiz, boasting more than 15 years of experience in leading cyber security product development teams. 

Lucy Liu, co-founder and president of Airwallex 

Lucy is a co-founder and president of global payments and financial platform Airwallex. Having previously worked as an investment consultant at China International Capital Corporation (CICC) – the country’s first joint venture investment bank – Lucy is now responsible for overseeing the ongoing business operations within Airwallex.

Pär-Jörgen Pärson, partner at Northzone

A partner at multi-stage VC fund Northzone since 2004, Pär-Jörgen focuses primarily on businesses in consumer internet, health, and fintech. The partner’s portfolio includes multi-billion dollar exits in market-defining companies, such as Spotify, Zettle and Avito.

Jenny Zeng, founder and managing partner at MSA Capital

Jenny is the managing partner at global investment firm MSA Capital. A venture capitalist and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in the VC and private equity industry, Jenny leads all China-based investments from the fund.
