Forget AGI and chatbots; we’ve officially entered the age of agents. Far beyond standard LLMs, AI agents are embedding into everyday apps to independently solve real-life problems and handle complex tasks. Join Manus AI Co-founder and CPO Tao Zhang - who pioneered agents - to explore why the shift to autonomous agents matters more than the latest foundation model, how it will change daily life for billions, and why the race to control the agent interface is the battle to become tech's next dominant giant.

The age of agents

AI will transform every industry, but none more than AI research itself. Join Recursive & You.com co-founder & CEO Richard Socher as he breaks down how self-improving systems are accelerating their own development and laying the foundation for superintelligence.

When AI builds itself

While closed-source frontier models dominate headlines, open-source AI is quietly becoming the default engine for real-world business. This session explores how open models give builders full control over their data, cut compute costs, and speed up innovation. Move past the hype to discover why the future of AI is fast, flexible, and open source.

The open-source advantage

Europe has an ambition to become a global tech powerhouse, whilst also setting the rules for the digital economy. Can Europe build a technology ecosystem that competes with the US and China while establishing the right governance approach through its rules? In this talk the EU Commission's EVP Henna Virkkunen discusses the EU’s drive for tech sovereignty, from AI and cloud to chips and digital infrastructure, alongside its efforts to regulate the platforms and AI systems reshaping society.

Has Europe’s tech moment arrived?

AI agents could become the next major editors of news, searching, gathering and processing information on behalf of people. What does this mean for media organisations and the way news is created, distributed and monetised? This session explores how media companies can prepare for an agent-driven future.

AI: your new news editor?

AI agents are changing how people discover information, shop, and transact online. As more activity happens without a human click, the web is facing new questions about control, attribution, and value. Cloudflare co-founder and CEO Matthew Prince explains why the internet is at a turning point - what this shift means for companies of every size and what it will take to keep the web open in the agentic era.
