AI can write code and plan complex tasks. But can a robot pick up a key without dropping it, or handle something fragile without crushing it? Alex Xia explores what it takes to give AI a capable pair of hands. Drawing on tendon-driven, direct-drive and hybrid designs, he reveals the engineering trade-offs behind precision, strength and reliable manipulation. Discover Xynova’s vision for a “dexterity API” for the physical world, and what it takes to turn AI decisions into useful action.
