The Web Summit developer programme is all about giving back to the network of coders, builders and programmers who attend our tech events.

Every year, we give select applicants complimentary tickets for the Lisbon event, where they can get a glimpse software development’s future – and much more – over three days that offer something for everyone.

With 20+ content tracks at Web Summit, you’re bound to find something that’ll interest you. Learn from the founders, CEOs and CTOs leading the companies at the forefront of tech, and get to grips with the pressing challenges and advanced solutions in your industry.

From using the Web Summit mobile app to attending our exclusive developer parties, this is an event built to help you make meaningful connections with new colleagues, industry experts, experienced mentors, potential employers and more.

Masterclasses and roundtable discussions

Our developer-focused masterclasses and roundtables encourage collaboration and intimate discussion between tech company leaders, top speakers, startup founders and savvy investors. We want all our attendees to come away from Web Summit having learned something new.

Developer Lounge, in partnership with Siemens

It can be challenging to meet the right people at developer events. That’s why Web Summit has a dedicated Developer Lounge, in partnership with Siemens. Whether you want to connect with fellow developers or just find some quiet, your ticket gives you exclusive access.

How do I join the Web Summit developer programme?

Web Summit’s developer programme is open for anyone working as a tech developer in any industry or location, with two complimentary tickets given to each successful applicant.

You can apply for our developer programme through GitHub, where you will be asked to submit a portfolio of open source projects you have contributed to. Our AI systems will automatically review all applications, favouring frequent contributors to high-impact development projects.

If selected for the programme, you and a plus-one will get access to all talks, masterclasses and networking sessions – and to the Developer Lounge – this November. Successful applicants will be issued with a unique ticket code to redeem their complimentary tickets on the event website.

If you are unsuccessful in your application, you can still join Web Summit 2022 with a regular ticket.
