The Web Summit Innovation in Sport award is an international mark of excellence in the sports business community, recognising athletes who have changed the game on and off the field. The 2024 recipient is 4x Premier League and Champions League winner, Ruben Dias. The dominating defender has risen from his days in Benfica's youth academy into one of the greatest defenders in the world. But it's how he uses his voice and influence off the field that is most important.
