Stage 15 Pavilion 5

Climate change is not a game

Can games and gamers be a force for good and help policy makers with valuable insights on climate and nature? This panel will explore the recently launched Play2Act campaign which will run for at least 2 years and has the ambition to reach 1 billion gamers globally. To date 100m people have been reached via games such as Subway Surfers, Pokemon GO! and Pac-Man. Play2Act will enable gamers to speak up via short in-game surveys, and provide valuable insights back to studios, the games industry and policy makers, on the global pulse of climate and nature attitudes and sentiment.
